ML1 and ML3 - Help required...

Hello all :)

I have completed ML2 and ML4, but have not been able to get home from work in time to attend the recent ML1 and ML3 raids. If any of you are contemplating doing ML1 or ML3 (even just the group steps) this week, could you please post here so I can see if I may be able to attend?

I am free after 7 PM GMT.

At the very least, I would like to gain ML1 so I can complete ML5 when it's held.

TIA :)

I have missed all ML raids because they just don't fit in with RL. I cannot commit to the waggon train approach. So I have decided to chill with it all and just pick up bits here and there as I go.

I need ML1 BG steps to complete ML1.

So if you need help with ML one then let me know when and where.

I know what you mean mate. I have been pretty unlucky as far as MLs go really. They either start too early for me to attend, or they are on the same evening that I have planned to see my GF. C'est la vie! ;)

I've done the ML1 solo step, but that's it. Lenah did mention to me last night that she might get a Guild group together to do the ML1 group steps, so that would be great. It's just 1.9 and 1.10 that'll need a BG.

I am sure we aren't the only two in this position, so perhaps if any others can post interest we might be able to get something sorted out?

From experience asking for help (aka please raid leader do something) will not get you any further.

Leading a raid is not that troublesome - the players are ! Well, some of them.

Read up on VOS how to do encounters, memorize the routes, figure out the best route and know where to do what. Have print outs ready, make some notes, have good maps.
Check what numbers you need for each step (and maybe max numbers too as in ML2).

Then set a date and meeting place. Don't be afraid if you don't know everything - just ask in BG then and there. There are bound to be people there who know things.

Just be firm in the direction you go and what you do. There are times when I hate myself making a decision like yesterday when some people didn't get credit on ML3 due to time restrictions. But I can live with them as the majority of players got credit.

How you deal with nuisance players is up to you.

Kesxex I hope I did not sound like I was saying that to you - good lord you do enough and its not your fault we have awkward lives to live. Your points are all very useful I hope we can put them into good practice. I heard about the poor players yesterday by the way - that must make life so difficult.

So Sturgis should we try to get together a group to do the group steps? I will help you with those 1.1 is the biggest pain and does need a decent group setup. I have it now but it hurt a few times before we got it right and I can help again with it if you like.

Why don't we try to arrange a raid for group steps at a time that suits you and I? I am usually online Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during the week. This weekend I am going to be away and might not be on much but I will be back next Monday.

thoughts?

Reads OK to me :)

I am free either tonight or Thursday. Perhaps we could go for Thursday? That way everyone has plenty of notice?

I said I am available Monday, Wednesday and Friday!!! :)

Ok let me juggle a few things around at home and I should be available on Thursday for the ML1 Group steps. Could you please post the new thread asking for signups? Would you like to lead this one or shall we share the load?

I will post a link to the thread in the Marsh Horde's website and see if anyone else would like to come along. This way we would be ready to help with Darktail's very kind offer.

Darktail - two weeks notice is perfect for me to arrange things I will also do the necessary warning etc at home before these events. PLease bear in mind most of us are so busy that a 7pm (GMT) start is the earliest we can manage and to be honest 7.30 (GMT) is probably more realistic.

Sturgis - the ML2 single step is nasty - have you tried it yet?
