Alt and f4 i've heard only works on windows mode. But if your using a custom UI , you can turn them off deleting a line in style.xml file saying tool_tip_background

Then you don't have any tooltips

i think theyre the tool tips when you go over your QB it tells you the level of your spell and the name. Also when you run your mouse arrow over your armour/jewelery/inventory it tells you what it is without Shift-I it

Handy when leveling i think tbh

also says reuse timers so not just good for leveling.

its quite annoying to start with, but then again if you dont use your mouse to cast spells / do styles you wont be annoyed much.

and its handy for me to check when ra`s are up again. ml9 ect. instead of like "you must wait 235 sec to cast this spell" now you just hover over and it sais it in min and sec

i hated it to start with, cant live without it now.

I personally find it most handy when CC'd and purge is down, can just hover over and see how long you've got left mezzed and stuff
