dead game?

hi i viewed available server and biggest i could find have 365 people, that wouldnt be so bad, but that server was Deutch, i can speak only english, and when i looked at english server biggest i could find had 9 people, so i want to ask server look up have got big crash or is it true? if its true can somebody tell me if i can somehow on deutch server see npc dialogues in english?

The English cluster is pretty much low population by now.
I don't think you can get english npcs on the German servers. The speech from the npcs is sent from the server, so if you connect to a German server, you are going to be sent german speech.
In principle, they could have set it up so that each server has the language packs for all the languages and let the client request one of them, but I guess when all the servers were popular, it wasn't necessary, and now, it isn't worth the trouble for a very small English speaking customer base.

On uthgard there are about 600 players primetime, its Classic, really nice community, no ToA... So so nice, retro feel...

I renewed my account (for 1 month, bit more careful nowadays) and started playing on the German servers. As a Dutchie I don't have much troubles speaking (or well, understanding) German.
Got in 1 day /played roughly level 42 on 2 chars (levelling bb at same time) and even alot has changed, the game still reminds me of the old days. It's been much fun so far for me.

I wants to play again so much just wondering how long the downloads are to play it seen as though i dont have a working disc drive...anyone know /??

I downloaded the client overnight, don't know exactly how long it took me, but it was done the next day
Small update: I play on the German Hib-realm on Avalon. In abit over 3 days played I managed to get to 50, get my artifacts (and levelled them), got my SC, did dragon-raid for the armour-parts I wanted and got my ML-steps (BG and solo) sorted. I'm currently ML3 and just need ML-XP to progress onwards.
What people remember from the grind has been removed. For sure it might look frightening to get arti's, level'em, but its made alot easier. Scrolls are for free if you ask a high RR nicely (to buy em for you for his bountypoints) and all arti's are doable with a small group nowadays.
ML-raids you gotta be lucky with. Everything can be done with 2-3 FG (probably less when you have an uber group) but raids are still being done on German-cluster regulary
