I dont have faction with the mau's, but ive heard that if i got a guy in grp with neutral faction he can get the vest for me and i still get encounter - is this true or false? :>

Yes you can do it, group or BG with someone who has mau faction and hasnt done GSV before and they can get it while you wait on edge of camp.

sorry for using capitals but i messed up lieva getting the encounter by using the BG method.

They need to be in the group of the person picking up.

And the mau have REALLY crud stelth break so tis easy to stelth up to the vest before the person picks it up.

If they have done it before, I doubt it matters.

they can only turn in the scarab wings if they have not done the quest before. so yeh it does matter.

did it yesterday, took hardly anytime to get faction on my vamp killing setians tbh, even got bandstars while randomly passing

best to kill the Setians since you need to do that to get the scrolls anyway - I found it quite straight forward. Kill setians get scrolls and good faction. Then kill scarabs hand in the wings and pick up the vest.

If you have the scrolls then I can see that you might be in a hurry.

im a hurry but i think im gonna keel some setians for faction anyway, im lvl 49 so i could need exp - and im sure there must be more reasons to get faction with em mean lions!
