Thats what i suggested a few pages ago, sorting one out fot NE at the moment, spoke to Gahn about him sorting one for NFD
Can post it here and FH so we cover both our bases and hopefully get the excal alliances to make a post as well so we learn more about them.
Doing the following format
Alliance name
Brief description
Link to /as rules
contact details (a few people for a couple of the most active guilds)

This should do a few things, firstly give contact details so people know who they can speak to to pass info to other alliances.
Second allows an overall view of the main alliances so guilds can find ones that suit them.

All i see atm is NFD trying their best to come to a sollution and I see ppl sticking their heads in the sand to pretend that everyting isnt as bad as it looks. But we got to realise that it is bad atm. And its only gona get worse if we dont pull our finger out of our arses. <know it sounds blunt but thats the simple fact of it all>

Atm i dont know what FS is going to do. There's a lot of sentiment towards NE alliance but tbh I dont know if that should matter or not. Is the fact that I dont want to let ppl down by leaving more important than what is better for my guild? I dont have answer to that yet. What I have to do is listen to my members and that is what i'm planning to do. I've already discussed this with my officers and i'm gona do it with my members aswell. I have had a lot of members take a break cos they are sick of the way this realm is working together <or should i say not working together> And i really dont want to lose (sp) members cos they cant find a grp.

As to Crom's idea about having the rvr chars join GPK .... no thank you. I've worked to hard on FS to leave them for another guild.

That was mine idea, and as said it was just an idea to try not to break sentiments too much.
We are open minded to solutions as far as they resemble as solutions ^^

Sharky asked me to contact CLA and I did that <Horley is a very nice guy>,
Asked him to work together with us and that is no problem at all, i've asked him for some bits and pieces of information and he's gona get back to me so i'll let you know who to contact if we got something planned. Also asked him to apply for this forum and apply for access to the GM forum and that I would contact him if something new was planned. Anything else I need to ask him? Just let me know, he's a dutch guy and i can have some decent conversations with him without missunderstandings.

<btw Gahn i still got your armor parts if you want them bunneh: can give them to a guildie of yours if you want>

Hum hum.. I look forward to see what your thread will look like Aran, regarding NE alliance

I agree with Maxis about rules (which I think he means anyway) seems weird to have rules in an alliance, since that forces alot of people to be a certain way. Let rules stay in guilds and alliance be free for all? I dont know :)

I think Mythic/GOA covers all and every needed rules in their CoC tbh?
Never really tought about it before but now its all very clear to me :D

EDIT : Wait! Common sense is nice also :)

Unfortunately, because we are all different, when there is a shared resource (in this case /as) there needs to be some guidance (aka rules) as to how that resource should be utilised. Common sense isn't always enough.

If there are no /as rules that's fine, but that is the decision of the alliance just as much as the rules are the decison of the alliance that does have them.

In my opinion, based on my experiences in alliances, a small alliance doesn't really need rules common sense will usually be enough. Larger alliances do need rules, otherwise /as becomes too cluttered.
