While I agree with Kyle Broflovski that "'Disintegration' is the best album ever", I also think that 'Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me' is one of The Cure's better album. 'Just Like Heaven' is frequently ranked as the best loved of their singles.

As for me, I was thrilled to find my favourite single, 'I'm Cold' on 'Join The Dots' as I wore out the cassette I had of 'Staring At The Sea' about 10 years ago.

The limited edition 'Kiss Me' EP is my favourite Cure pressing altogether. 'Breathe' is possibly my favourite Cure song. But overall, Kiss Me is an indefensibly patchy album. Yes, it has its moments, but if it were half as long, it would be twice as good. IMO.

But then, the poppy stuff was never what got to me - what reached its misty fingers into my psyche and took hold was the sad, spooky stuff. Faith and Pornography are my favourite Cure albums.

Oddly, perhaps, I never really warmed to Disintegration though.
