Seems to me that it's only recently that Raid Leaders are exercising the option to 'claim an item' - I wonder why that is
Although I don't personally object to Leaders pre-claiming items (since they get the stress of running the raid) I think it's only fair that the Leader clearly states what they will pre-claim so that people joining know exactly what to expect or more importantly, whether to join at all.

I dont recall seeing any of this in the early 'old-timer Hibby' raids run by the likes of: Usp, DrCasals, Piffany etc. nor any whine threads on their raids for that matter.

I know it's more of a standard practice on Excal but hey, that's one of the reasons why we like Prydwen so much isn't it? but I suppose we should get used to this if they ever cluster TOA

I have no problem with a raid leader preclaiming one item from the raid as a reward for their efforts if they state clearly in advance what that one item is. Otherwise, people may go on a raid purely for the chance of an item and be disappointed when it isn't lottoed.

To be honest, I have every sympathy with raid leaders who choose to keep loot splitting to a minimum by letting scrolls and stuff just autosplit. Leaving it to autosplit saves a lot of argument. I suppose you can't do that with major stuff though.

Yes were so greedy from me that i left bg without want to roll for anithing after saw how you treated all us (you asked me what i wanted to lotto for by pm and all and i said you to keep them all for you greedy).


I dont know how you treat peopel in excalibur but not only claiming stuff without been said in advance + then treating peopel like shit when you left us all sit in the floor waiting for the lotto as you were saying "for leader descresion i dont loot anithing", and tbh i thikn you really were going to keep everything for you (as seems you done with xcerus with eoy, i dont known that story), but then when i said you were xcerus you returned back and started to loot the stuff that you dont wanted, of course knowing some peopel were going to "join pieces" and see you were xcerus the guy that seems keep for himself some eoys, and then fucked a whole bg in a 2.10.

Me as kallima when saw you were the same guy, dont said anithing as everyone can have a second oportunity, but then after see you just acted like you are (just a greedy guy), of course i said.

Btw me and finolin have screenshot of the raid where you say "will have to log my chanter for 2.10", "loging into chanter" (just before xcerus appear), and then anyone that click in your profile and make a "all your post search" (as long as you dont deleted them, i have copys ), can see you are xcerus, joining for some arti raids (as you say in your posts for your chanter, if i were using a friend account i wasnt going to say "to my chanter", + if xcerus has an account here too as you just showed in this post just to make peopel believe you are 2 diff persons, why isnt xcerus who ask the spots? becuase everyone knows is the greedy toon? yes surely becuase of that ), in others post can be see you saying "my chater xcerus", in other talking about templates you say "this is my chanter xcerus22.htm (or anithing as that)", yes isnt your chanter and you call your template htm as xcerus too lol.... dont know who you trying to lie.

Well apart from your toons/alts, about just yesterday raid, when you move to a new country you need to addapt to the country, same here you cant come here and claim you do stuff like in excalibur, becuase we arent in excalibur, (is so easy to say all to leader descreasion (or how word is it), to you can keep all you want for yourself what a fucking greedy rule ).

And again as i said in last post if you really want to claim anithing say it in your raid post, but of course you really dont want to claim anithing in advance so you just can take the good things you see it drop to keep it for yourself.


Well cba to spend more of my time posting in this posts, so i stop here think everyone knows who you really are and what are your rules for your next raids (if you do any, as dont think you will get lot of poepel in them).

Hmm its a grey area that varies depending on raid leader, i remember running a Tur Suil raid where lurilasses got a +5 modifier on rolls <grin>
Several times ive organised a raid and stated in the sign up post as well as in /bg at start of raid that if a certain item dropped i would be claiming it.
However most of the times i will split loot and roll for it normally.

The main point is to be fair and keep the BG happy and informed, and to do this the rules really should be set in stone before the raid starts.

I havent lead any major raids and aint planning to either, is not that I couldent do it but it´s rather time demanding and to me boring to read up on and plan a raid.

I don´t mind if the raidleader takes all loot, even though you wont be as optimistic to attend to ones raid doing so then those who wont..

Still knowing I don´t want to spend time planning one myself and how time demanding it is, I would still not complain if he took everything ;P

Still most people probably don´t think as me so better to state everything clearely beforehand I think that is best to ofcourse.
