Not being able to queue your shots, and crit from stealth only is somewhat bizarre, and I've run out of qb space for all the new shot types. Most of them swapped into my existing bound keys nicely. Damage consistency is probably the best thing about the changes. Dex based draw speed means I need to redo my godamn template eek:

I quite like it on the whole but only had 24 hours so far so I might change my mind by next week.doh:

Them ToA Javlins were the most fun I ever had on my Ranger.. Who needs a bow when you can blow up everyone in a 20 metre radius.. Oh the good old days 8-)

Pretty nice then ;) Is about half way between an old crit shot and a normal shot I guess. What's fire speed like now, has it generally improved on average or is it lower?

More just interested in how archers fair now really compared to how they used to really, wondering if Mythic's done a good job in fixing the issues that have existed since day 1 basically ;)

Renewed this weekend.. I was thinking about playing Lotr Online but thought id have a quick month on Daoc instead.. I'm kinda partied out with wow like.. and just fancy a change. Coming back to Daoc after 2 years is like taking a step back in time. Their content is still very viable by any mmo currently on the market and their pvp is still excellent.

The graphics are spot on.. but at times it feels the graphics struggle to keep up with the engine resulting in what feels like stiff character control. If they re-released daoc with an up-to-date engine and control method i'd think they could seriously have something they could market :o
