True, but in RL you dont get rps from killing your enemies either

Edit: I don't add myself but I don't care if others do so unless my enemy is almost dead that is. It is afterall better to get away from the battle with a couple of RP than die on the field with no rp.

In RL you get ganked - you die.
In the game - (as I see it) better to die in a good 1v1 than to win it 3v1.
