If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire...the A(nimist)-Team

Cue music for full effect.

Thanks to Tuthmes for the link.

hehe judging by the way this 'maeloch hates irc' idea seems have gotten gossiped about someone must do. Anyhow I've been on it a few times, but FH in real-time don't really appeal to me.

You're right in saying that IRC is more of a mass media device than MSN or the forums, but back in 'my days' it was very rare to see "hibs at tower killed me, albs go pwn plz" in channels like daoc.prydwen, prydwen.stealthers or daoc.eclipse.
If there is such a thing as cross realming happening on IRC, and i'm quite sure it happens cos i'm not that naive :), it happens in PM (which is the same as MSN) or in private channels, where only a limited amount of people have access to.

That's exactly what 99% of IRC is though, FH in real time. Flaming people from another realm for adding/zerging/camping/alarmclock raiding/PvEing a keep/farting/breathing etc.

Not this old chestnut.

cross realming is a practice
IRC is a technology
Teamspeak is a technology
Telephone is a technology
Alarm clocks are technology

One might make the other easier but it does not make it happen.

At least I finally know what IRC is now.

You know, if you think its worse I really don't understand why you use it :)

Edit: Just realized you proberbly mean the irc and not this board <blushes> but you might be using daoc.prydwen too? :D
