actully it says on the website you are not allowed to run older versions of the server or its "licence fraud"

find it rather easy to pay $12 for a 25 person server which is dedicated and you get to pick your own flashy name xxx.ventrilo.org

Why pay if you get all the functionality you need in the .1 version and it has no limit either?
