Regarding information goa has closed down their own forums because they couldn't take the flames.

There is no other possible reason, people were able to shove their opinions right into goas face and they closed the forums due to technical difficulties.

I still remember it. Technical difficulties my a... augmented bottom ! (to avoid satyn)

some key points of note:

"I didnt lose anything": Roll on clustering WOO YEAH!

"I have been restored": GOA sort your act out, we want clustering but keep your promis

"I am waiting to be restored": OMG GOA what the hell are you doing... sort it out not and stop faffing about!

Key point is:

Goa made a promiss to restore ALL characters before server clustering.
Have they done this to date: No
Can they thus be trusted: No
Do they care about all their customers: No

So think carefully about what might happen in the future and wonder if one day GOA will do the same to you and leave you in the ditch to fester because you and your guild are the only people in that situation.

Yes, most did I lost all items on 5 chars, but as my main was ok I could still play, I know that If my main had been stripped and I haden't got it restored by now I had quit for sure.

I've always stood up for goa but I really dont agree with this eventho i'm looking forward to clustering.

Agreed, even though I wan't the clustering to happen, I still think they should restore all chars before doing so, as they stated from the beginning.

would agree some on the first and second i guess as they haven't restored all chars, though they have also said that they dident belive the problem to be as huge as it was and I guess they ofcourse thought themselfs that they would have been able to fix all chars by now, but not being able to do so having to do the clustering because they are afraid more would leave if they dident... this is what I think.

The 3:rd option is a big NO ofcourse as they have to care about their customers as without the customers they woudent get any money, even though they in this case haven't done what they should have.

I think they should fix all chars before cluster, but I guess they think they will loose more by doing so.

you have to understand that GOA only see the money. Like any company.

They are like "Ok, 200 people not sorted yet, how many might leave if we kick em in the nuts with clustering now? Maybe 50? ok..."

and "how many players reactivated accounts when they heard about clustering, and how many are waiting just for clustering? 1000? ok ho many might we loose if we keep delaying clustering? 300? ok.."

then its nothing about the decition that´s suprising. its ALL about the $$$$ allways has been, allways will be. You think the ones in charge on the top that dont even play a PC game I bet of any sort, cares one jack what people whine about? They see money, only money coming in filling their pockets. It´s all numbers nothing else, we are just numbers.

Goa also made a 'promise' to bring clustering months ago, but that was put off many times until the item problems that have now put it off for almost 2 more months. How is, finally, bringing clustering not caring about their customers? If it doesn't actually slow down the restoration process, freakin stop whining about it, tbh.

My Biggest problem with them becuase of this is very simple.

They promised something to a minority of people ( people who lost itamz) the made this monority Smaller again and now GoA believe they can break the promise that they made.

If the problem was bigger than they though then they shouldn't of made a premmiture promise and was done just to keep the players happy.

Either way GoA have yet again failed to reach the very low expectations i have set them.

Now there is no point in saying that these sort of actions are bad, ofc they are. just like saying that if something like this was to every happen one of the french servers things would go differently. Ofc they would , but then again the French servers ( yes i know they a clustered) never go down unless planned ( I remember a year or 2 ago we found out that some of excal's zones where on a cluster with some of a german servers zones).

Anyway , Imo even though i REALLY want the clustering to go ahead , i would like to see it postponed untill people who still have active accounts have thier itamz restored. Because the XP/RP bonus put in place on pryd was there. but won't when the servers are clustered.

Now I explained in a Mail to Rightnow when my vamp was naked. I basicaly said it's all well and good having a xp/rp bonus system in place, but seeing as i'm naked there is no point it me continueing to play my vamp as i can't take advantege of what they have put in place. I ended up getting pee'd off after 3 weeks of nothing from GoA and kitted out my vamp on my own. Only for 2 days later for them to sort it out as well :/

GoA's cutomer server is very poor ( nothing against our GM's Req u are a good person as are the other GM's) it's the Company as a whole i don't like.

If i had the choice to Move my Char's to another company that does Daoc i would. No question , becuase ( and this is just how i feel) nothing could be worse than GoA)

True it's about the money as thats why they sell the games and so ]Blizzard[/b] is really good at keeping their Customers happy, just looking at their Single/multiplayer games tell you that, I doubt they really needed to make those 20 billion (Ok maby not that many but still ;P) patches after they had released their games.

Im not saying that I have any clue on how they would handle things if a problem like this occured though ;D
