Maybe I expressed myself a bit too exagerated, I just wanted to get the point across that there is a lot of people suffering from the class divide, many of them are in a worse position than I as I'm kitted out and sufficiently high RR to survive in small group RvR. You cannot imagine the number of people I have seen leave the server due to this divide. Unfortunately. If you're in NE /as you can read about it every when and then. Pity really.

Well u make it seem like we all started at rr9 or whatever when we built our groups or forced us to solo etc, but it ain't true, it takes effort and willingness to lose and learn to build up a char and a good group.

Merino,

thanks for the response here, I haven't got a pm yet. Many of the spots currently have a question mark beside them because those people have yet to confirm. What we need are people still willing to sign up as a backup and who will definitely be online and would be willing to join should a spot become available. I promise that if your there there is a good chance you will get some runs out.

The idea behind this is bring people together. If the divide is as bad as you say then we need to think of more groups like this I should not be the only one doing it there are loads of other people who know much more about it than I do. There are also loads of people who are looking to form groups you just need to start getting together more.

What I found most dissappointing was that the first time we ran we did not get the interest from people who have traditionally complained about this.

Please feel free to come along hopefully you might get to know others and eventually form a group of your own? Thats kind of why I wanted to do it.

Greetings Noble Merino.
Your Post was nicely put and had valid points.
The Main point being IRvR is great fun compared to normal RvR and gives individuals a chance to partake in some good battles and to even earn some usually elusive RP's. Nothing wrong with that friend. You begin to learn the capabilities of your Toon and that of the Enemies and most important...have FUN.

Wouldnt it be better though, if the Hibs were not sandwiched between the Albs and Mids all the time, being constantly harrassed in the general belief that they are easier targets. The Enemy have the upper hand over us due to the Ports and our Relics are very much in danger, because of this. There are three way battles out there, but whenever we take on one Realm, it's very usual that the other enemy join in the fight AGAINST us.
Wars are lost by having two fronts to fight on, we cannot remain neutral as the Invaders are content on farming us. They know they have the advantage on this and it is in our best interest to do something against it.

With an exception of a few, most people will agree IRvR is a good thing. It makes the game enjoyable with so much action in one area. But, when its within our lands, the hibs are at a disadvantage. We need the IRvR to happen in someone elses back yard to alleviate this. This is why Retakes are important. In the situation, we are in, we can still balance it out a bit by taking just one Tower to stop one realm from porting in. They wont go away..they will try to retake it..but that will give us the slight edge needed instead, as we can defend it better and let them suffer bigger casualties.
In our present state, we will not be able to hold onto our Relics when either enemy decide to attack. You have made some good friends in Hib, have you stop caring about helping them?
:ranger: Aiming to please..

How can I argue with such a well written post? :)
I fully agree that having both enemiy realms in our back yard puts our relics in danger, so the best solution may be retaking beyond Hibs borders, meaning we should take one of the alb keeps in the same go. Should keep everyone happy then.

Cheers

To improve unity and organisation within the realm, we should rationalise our alliances. I suggest uniting behind the NFD alliance banner. mischev:

If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire...the A(nimist)-Team

Cue music for full effect.

Merino and Chabio pretty much summed up my view too. I like insta RvR. It's the only chance I get to participate in real combat. I can't get groups very often, which means without iRvR I spend my time either getting ganked by stealth cos I am trying to get to fights solo, getting rolled by groups, or standing around trying to get a group. None of that is fun.

If enemies have to earn more RPs than me, so be it. I can't stay in DAoC not being able to get a steady flow of combat.

One point I've never changed on though is that iRvR should not be in Hib. We should retake our keeps immediately whenever they are taken by the enemy. Soon enough iRvR would be a regular feature of Alb, which is where it belongs.

Thanks to everyone not flaming me....

Agree with both sides and I love iRvR, its fun, doesnt matter that I cant get a grp and very productive on the rps front. Being a ranger I dont get killed that much in a zerg as I can fight from range but still get a lot of rps compared to 'normal'. I hardly ever get in a group, even a guild one, so I know how you feel Merino/Yeyi.

However as said by many people, 'not on our doorstep please'. Its just too risky. Our relics will be taken whenever the enemy decide. It perhaps only the memory of Arans relic recapture success last time that is holding them off.

I have a 'virtual' nightmare...its where the iRVR happens just outside ligen and cain as thats the only green bits. Most of the time no hibs get rps as the enemy got attacked by a guard, but hibs still die....Maybe some people will celebrate the fact they dont even have to port after /release ;) It certainly will put the Insta into iRVR.
