yes

theyre not using tesco 'bag for life' bags.
Only they can be truely classed as buffbot bags.

The other carrier bags are far too weedy in buffage to support your shopping very much.

Seems to me Gandelf's issue is the fact that the classic servers have too many toons trying to log on - or to put it another way not enough capacity.

So the bb argument he raises would not be an issue if the capacity was 4,000 instead of 3,600.

There is a separate argument for and against bb's which a few are actually commenting on.

As for the shopping bags buying drinks...

If I am overweight and therefore take up more room at the bar should I pay more for my drink ?

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Anyway a man goes into a bar with a slab of concrete under one arm and says a whisky for me and one for the road.

A set of jump leads go into the bar, the barman says I'll serve you but don't start anything.

Two peanuts walk into a bar and one got a-salted.

Gotta love Christmas crackers ;)

I can't believe how hard it is to get a group on Glastonbury, considering there's more players on there than play on Gareth (US) and I never had any trouble getting groups there.

So... I got me 2 bot accounts to help me level. I've never failed to log on yet, but I do play more off peak.
Now playing...

No nag, just an discussion, it is a forum after all, without some treads now and again, positiv or negativ, the whole point of having 1 would be gone :P

If there are 5000 people trying to connect to a single 3600 cap server, will you demand a removal of AFK players, or opening of a new server?
If there are 3000 people and 2000 buffbots trying to connect to a single 3600 cap server, will you demand a removal of buffbots, or opening of a new server?

Some additional information on Classic servers

Glastonbury and Salisbury are by far the most busy servers, with such a success that in the evenings and on the weekends their maximum capacity is often reached, even though it has been extended to 3600 players. As with any launch of a new server, some of you may have to try and log in several times before being able to enter the server.
However we cannot increase the maximum capacity of the servers again without risking a degradation of the game experience, and a new server would not have enough players. We are of course aware that some of you may be disappointed at not always being able to connect to these new servers immediately. Note that this situation is also due to some situations of abuse, when certain players stay connected even if they are not playing, thus creating a vicious circle that prevents a normal regulation of the population of these servers. We would thus like to remind you of some parts of the Rules of Conduct :
All the actions of your characters have to be done by you while physically present in front of your computer. The use of tools (hardware of software) to enable your character to act when you are not here in order to stay connected to the server is likened to the use of third party tools, even if the intention is not to cheat but just to be certain to keep a place on the server. This behaviour prevents other players to connect normally, so the characters will be booted off the server when identified, and the player will receive as a sanction a suspension for disturbing the game experience of the other players. Keep also in mind that these actions can be detected at a later stage, and that the Community Managers only need a complaint from a player to start an enquiry and find some proofs.

Says it all really!

Hope everyone had nice prezzies for Christmas. :)
