The realm point farmers at 3am, the radar users, the "I lent my brother's account at...". There's people there watching you. More to the point if you want an arena where by you can do this as and when you want then you should be asking for it, not complaining in this thread. Something a bit more constructive in your replies is necessary peeps. I understand too well that there are problems with stealthers and late night fights and finding them and for everyone else for that matter. But if you were to at least put solutions rather than ridicule then you might get a better response from not just here but mythic itself.

I think theres enough "constructiveness" in the point that its fun. Its not rp farming, its fun.

Well obviously you aren't listening to the stealther community and what's happened to them since NF. I personally see nothing wrong with the idea that an arena should be provided where by you can solo (preferably without buffs) and duel an opponent. I can't see why you should not have fun doing that either as long as no one could interfere with the fight and if you chose to go watch it then the facility to do should also be there.

The fact is that the duelling was going on in the middle of a battlezone and that a group of people are influencing what is going on and introducing their own code of conduct to which every one else should abide by, that does not only break EuLa and CoC but it is also grieving.

If an arena is needed you should be asking for it, what you are saying is that there is a time and a place for everything, and for this instance an arena is perfect and also appropriate. If you have a problem with my answer you can pm my ranger now. Your comments are hardly constructive nor provide solutions which is what i originally said.

would people do that if they could gain no RPs tho?
i doubt mythic would introduce a dueling ring where you can gain arpees too
but it would be nice to have that type of ring

Used to have a similar idea implemented in a game called 'rune'. It worked well. If peeps were to gain a lesser amount of realm points because they chose to duel then i see nothing wrong with that idea, ie a flat rate where no more or less could be gained. But like i say, this is only an idea whereby something even more constructive could be implemented.

I tried to PM your ranger? but not on. Dont see why you wanted me to PM though, whats wrong with continueing a disscussion here? And my point about it being fun was constructive in my eyes as i see theres nothing wrong with it. It happens late at night for a reason because not alot of people about and the few people about just do a few emotes and start dueling, i dont see what solution needs to be found?

And about the stealther community, being a ranger i am part of the stealther community but you are bringing in another issue which is adding which is a different situation. Finally, i believe Mythic said they would not bring in a 1vs1 instance dueling arena, onlly grped? and as far as i know many people have tried to push it through before to no avail.

What part of it is against the CoC? The 'spirit of the game' part? There are ways of argueing this is in the spirit of the game too... like fighting for honour, and recognition, surely like things in medieval times like jousting?
