should a Mod be punished for saying "stfu and die"

So we are all players. We all have an opinion. But as a mod you cannot flame (like the rest of us), you cannot be aggressive (like the rest of us) and you cannot argue. Seems a bit harsh to me, why does becoming a mod suddenly mean you have to become gagged ?

My point still stands, either there are different rules advised to mods or there are not.

If not then suddenly making one up and applying it retrospectively is unfair. If there are rules advised to mods then fine but the rest of us mere mortals do not know about it and therefore should not be involved as judge and jury.

if one person in your guild has a problem with you you cannot chuck the person out if they dont have a problem with anyone else. is selfish
however should a member of your guild come to you with a problem with someone in the guild you are more likely to kick them as it would reflect on the guild hole and not just head.

and i guess we can argue-ish - we just cant call you names (cept beansprout and fluffy bunny the 3rd but tbh that could be classed as worse than calling someone a nasty swear word ) as that would be against what the mods stand for.

But as a GM if someone says something you do not like or annoys you in some way you can still tell them via whatever forum is appropriate. You can still voice an opinion.

As I said, if their are rules for mods then Xest and every other mod should follow them - however then the public interference becomes somewhat pointless as we have no idea what the rules are or what the usual/agreed punishment for a breach of those rules is.

I am just searching for the consistency I guess.
