Uncluster the cluster?
Actually I have a Bard I quite love to play. Had to stop about a month ago over summer since work is just way too time consuming, but I was often stood in Ligen or Cain asking for grp for 1 hour without any response, which often made me log.Kesxex wrote:Reason that iRvR is so attractive is simply that there are not enough naturalists being played to make groups that have some staying power.
With or without cluster this fact doesn't change.
And as long as Hibs don't let Albs and Mids play in their own frontier, then the average rps per Hib are far better. Frankly as is with iRvR Hibs are loosing out most as they get sandwiched and everybody but Hibs makes more rps.
And as other stated: The effect of unclustering can be done much more energy efficient - switch the servers off. Same effect.

Craft it wouldnt be that simple. What if you have a player crafted weapon/armor thats been made by someone on excal? When your record is separated from theirs, your armor/weapon would probably crash the server as it would have an invalid pointer to its maker. Not unsurmountable, but would probably require a code change that isnt going to happen.
Also agree that without the cluster, we might as well just close our accounts.
