Merino/Yeyi
Bit of a generalisation there. My lot wont gank soloers (though Drac's leash does strain from time to time) & I don't think any of us have ever shouted at anyone else for adding (we may think it if it's a nice fair fight, but everyone plays their own way etc). I'm sure that it's not just our group that does this (the chances of us being unique are slim to say the least). Saying things like that just go to go widen a gap that's only in perception of gamestyle & the people playing that way. This whole zerging n00blets vs. l££+ fg's is becoming more that a little passe.

As for the rest of your post I kind of agree, as long as it doesn't have to be huge zerg warfare 24/7. It's not my cup of tea & I'd rather go craft than play in a zerg (though I'll happily go on any relic raid & try to persuede the rest of the group to do so too).

There does seem to be a strong trend towards the more 'opted' in Hib atm, even in the pick ups, but I suppose people just want to make the most of their group when running into an enemy zerg. I can't honestly think of many classes that can't fit into a reasonable group though (shield bms, voidies, mentalism & mana ments may have an issue I suppose). I fully expect many of the aforementioned to now tell me why they would, & good on them.
Those that can't lead follow.

I think one of the ironys of making rvr more immediate and accessable to all, is essentially peeps don't have to grp, organise or co-operate with anyone.

This is great someone can just log on for an hour and fart around near a bridge on their manachanter/sorc/sm/whatever - and have fun - but it does kind of kill certain aspects of the game. Why would anyone need to join a /bg, talk to someone from another guild, care about relic status, etc.? Double edged sword.

Well i tried to run a little mass RvR action recently but got very little response, add this to the comments ive recieved from some of the raids ive ran and im not really inclined to run stuff often now.
So im concentrating on having fun and helping the friends i have made in this game.
To be honest got a bit disheartened that it seemed noone could be bothered to work together, people ask for you to lead and then are unwilling to follow when you do.
When we tried to get our relic back, over 12 groups in the /bg and get when we moved out we only had 5 together, you can direct but no way you can make people follow unless they want to.
We suffer from SEP syndrome (someone else's problem).
its simple to make siege and yet so many people dont bother, it takes very little time or money to get a craft and woodwork to 30 which will allow you to make siege and repair unclaimed towers.

The most frustrating time in the game is still RR1-5 as it always has been. You don't usually get RvR groups & you can't usually kill anyone solo unless you're (1) the right class & (2) lucky & (3) your opponent wasn't paying attention. RvR-tasks are your fastest RPs at this stage & the 500'000'000 of them you need to do to get to RR5 are really extremely boring. Leirvik goes to RR4 now luckily but this doesn't really help those who had to leave it before it was extended from RR3 & still leaves RR4-5 as a major headache.

Simple answer is. If no iRvr mids camp bled bridge, albs camp beno bridge and hibs camp DC bridge and killing of soloers.

If iRvR they camp the bridge where iRvR is.

the siege building and buying problem is
the same like 2 years ago realy sad :(
the last raid alex tried it seemed only alex and me
was abel to buy and build siege
it s realy easy and i have zero craft abilities

so here the way to do it

1) get craft items from merchat in tnn f.e hammer
2)get yellow craft icons at craftchiefs in tnn they will pop in mainwindow under your abilities
3)klick on crafticon and drag siege icon you want on your quickbar
4)klick on siegeicon now report will tell you what you need to buy from siegemerchant (hope you can find him.....tnn,ligen..) for the siege you want
5)now kilck again on siege icon and you start to build siege
6)if not report tells you what parts are left to be abel to build siege (buy them)
7)now try it again till siege is build

easy

if you to lazy to buy parts go to merchant in housing and buy dim siege
they not so heavie and the safe room
built them then like normal siege with dimicon from siegecraftlist

shame on hibs

Post by Alexandrinus »

was really ashamed whats happening atm at DC bridge, its nice under the day but when population rises its real bad, Gotmagi (Thane RR5 so very overpowerd and evil ^^) fought against 3 Hibs, he killed two of em then he was on 10% health and an ranger was shooting him. Then i saw another 3-4 people adding on this Thane.
TBH why adding with 3-4 people on a char wich is at 10% ?is it really worth the 50-100rps you get?

Edit: Yes i sometimes also add on fights at bridges, but only if the hib is in real trouble or against some OP classes wich chainkills people.

Arkaon / Karak-Norn
and plenty of other chars between 10 and 30
