Oh dear to add or not to add....
Most of the people I run with try very hard not to add and knowing a lot of NFD peeps quite well I would be surprised if it was a deliberate case of leaching (although clearly I know nothing of the circumstances).
That particular phrase is not especially nice and as has been stated before it is hard for people to realise how serious you are when making a comment using text.
Nice one to come here and 'fess up' and then apologise.
