WTF?! Why saying this. Respect above all. That's how you get a nice game; you need a nice community (my opinion)

Really mate, I do not see any sence in making posts like these. They can only be followed by huge discussions, resulting in more ppl leaving. And if some is doing a good thing, it's nice if you say it, but not this way. I repeat: Respect.

[quote="Mojo"]I do sympathise, but like you said it's an old chesnut, so old that most people have made at least 1 char thats always required for such things. Maybe it's about time you sorted out a farming toon ]

There's a part of me that says yes to this - I actually have a farming toon on Gawaine - but... and its a big butt (see my rl photos if you don't believe that!)... I don't have much time at the moment for getting another toon through to ML7.

All fine and dandy m8, but my shade was my first proper toon when I came to this game and ToA didn't exist at that time. So there wasn't any real need for a farming toon back then which is why I'm kinda stuck with an ML10 shade. It's like your first kiss, special and cherished; you're first s**g, an OMFG experience; and like riding a bike, once you've learned it you never forget it (OK, maybe not such a good analogy). The point is, my shade is my first, my longest played, my best ML and best kitted out alt, made in a time pre-ToA, when RvR was the main end-game.

If i was starting out with what I know now, then I wouldn't bother with a shade, but Briannon is my baby, born and raised with love, time and commitment. Now she's just unloved and rejected by all.

... and a lurikeen to boot!

Lothandar wrote:Why bring a nightshade for farming? :)

To help get scrolls?

Nightshades can wear volcanus artis, and they do need scrolls for them, and money, and arti xp.

They can do poison dots quite well too...

Yeah, I know, an ML10 spymaster shade rocks the bollox off in RvR but they do need friends and loving elsewhere too you know.

Anyway, enough said on this. Don't want to fill this thread with diversionary posts so I'll stop now.

I know what you mean, i kinda bit the bullet a long time ago when i saw it would be an issue, it paid off for me in the long run, although at the time i thought the idea sucked. :)
