technically all classes are at a disadvantage in one point or another...
can see Gandelf's view but also solo tanks are VERY disadvantaged in the iRvR at the moment...
if a solo tank wants rps they have to wait for the zerg to actually initiate close combat otherwise if they run in then the alb/mid tanks/healers will slam/stun and the casters will rip them to shit and back
casters have advantages in iRvR over tanks as they can stand back and hit the targets without getting close therefore getting some RPs when the enemy dies however as Gandelf was saying the targetting is a little fucked at the moment.
however i dont agree with the tanks always using 'target nearest enemy' as myself (not sure about others) only go for healing classes + mezzing targets so have to target whilst in the middle of the zerg
imo - using the mouse pointer to target shows if you are a good player to target the classes that need to be shot to shit as soon as possible... MAs should always be people that are fast and good at targetting the most appropriate classes... in some rvr groups ive been in the MA has always gone for 'target nearest enemy' and ive basically said f**k you im going for the healing class/caster instead of tank else we be screwed.
at the end of the day... all classes have their advantages and disadvantages but you have to live with them and work around them
