Nice, but will this sort of repair also work on things like paidrean necklace and harpy feather charm? =)

It won't work on non-artifacts but you don't have to repair those two.

There is no need in repairing items UNLESS there is a skill bonus on the item or you need the full AF/DPS/Focus of the armour and weapon. Any other bonuses will still work at 70% condition.
