Darkness Rising and Labyrinth of the Minotaur price decrease

Yes, 50 is the highest level atm. No XP loss for dying, no returning to grave/corpse. Your equipment suffers though and costs money to repair.
Training skills as you level also costs silver, but it's not expensive.
The equivalent of respecialising (known as equipping traits) is also quite inexpensive, so you can mix and match and find which is the best setup for your play-style. Traits are awarded for completing specific trait quests, such as discovering certain areas in particular zones, or for killing so many of a particular mob. For example, I am currently on a trait quest for killing 300 Wargs in Angmar (need about 70 more), which when complete, will reward me with improved stats, like more agility etc.

I find LotRO quite stimulating. I haven't experienced the same sort of grind with levelling as I did with DAoC. It's probably closer to WoW with the game dynamics, but the graphics and "feel" are more like DAoC. So really, what I'm saying is that it has the best of both worlds. Perhaps that's why I like it.
However, I often get an urge to renew my DAoC subs to see what it's like to go back. I do miss aspects of the game and it will always hold a place in my heart as the very first mmorpg I ever played.
WoW doesn't stir up any such sentiment. I stopped playing WoW when LotRO was released. I had got my Mage to level 68. The only incentive I have for returning to WoW is to get my Mage to level 70, but I can't honestly see me ever doing that.
WoW was ok at first, but it just doesn't hold anything special for me now. I don't know what the word is to describe it, but it's just too "nice" and doesn't have anything sufficient enough to make me want to play it again.

Well, if any of you do decide to return to DAOC euro, don't expect to get your account details if you lost them in
