Using items with a macro

Ripped from Freddy's House for those that dont read it, Vodkafairy found it so credit to him.

Found this post on german boards, and had no idea it was possible, maybe some of you will find it useful.

It's actually quite simple, just make the following macro:

/macro xx /use 5 **

or

/macro xx /use2 5 **

replace xx with the name you want to give the macro (obviously), and replace ** with the digits that represent the slot you want to use.

0 = right hand
1 = left hand
2 = two-handed
3 = ranged weapon
10 = helm
11 = hands
12 = boots
13 = jewel
14 = vest
15 = cloak
16 = legs
17 = arms
18 = necklace
21 = belt
22 = left bracer
23 = right bracer
24 = left ring
25 = right ring
40-79 = inventory slots

so for example, you want a macro that directly uses a barrel of power (in your first inv slot):

/macro barrel /use 5 40

Dunno whether i'll use it, I like seeing the arti pictures on my quick bars and dont have any spare keys to bind

Please don't tell me Sanya is really so naive in beleiving that the guy was snooping round in DAoC's internals for any legitimate reason other than for cheats/exploits

So is there any word from goa about this? Seeing how they sometimes differ in opinion from mythic. Wouldnt wanna get banned for something like this!

It's a client side command. Won't look any different from their end than you right clicking on the item and typing /use2.
