There's only one rule of customer service: "The customer is always right" even though they sometimes aren't, though in GOAs case it seems they usually are.

I agree that personal insults is going too far, but then so is throwing EULAs and lame excuses (that everyone knows are lame excuses) at customers who are disgruntled for genuine and understandable reasons. That's no way to keep a loyal subscriber base.

When your customer community is slamming you, even usually loyal customers, a wise company listens. Any company that doesn't is doomed. But GOA just don't seem to care, or their paid public-facing representatives don't (and any company where management aren't aware or don't care that their support is rubbish deserve to fail).

Some of you guys make me sick - namely littlefirby etc.

Noone cares about what you think littlefirby, noone wants you as a hero, noone gives a **** about your input so stfu.

I think your input is entirely stupid, some people don't have the same view as you and value Takits input, so only you don't care about it's your opinion not everyone elses.

So stfu.

Actualy... I care, and I give a **** about his input

Even though I may not agree with his personal approach in this matter, he pointed out what many people think about XML issue

It's true people are hard on GOA these days. I don't think they are hard on the GMs, as such. I mean ... noone says "Requiel you're a crap GM" or "Requiel you do a bad job", but GOA have made it so that the GM posts here and FH are the only actual dialogue taking place between the players and the providers. Whether the criticism is fair or not is another matter. You say they'd get torn to pieces no matter what they do, but I seriously doubt that. If Requiel had said "We put XML at the bottom of the list for ages, and now we've been caught out by the patches, but we commit to having it fixed within 2 months" people would probably have been much more positive, even though 2 months (or whatever they commit to) is a damn long time in game terms.

They aren't committing to anything though. At the moment the message is, "the XML is broken and we have no plans to fix it". Most times you'd think no ETA means it will get fixed somewhere around the corner, when they can get breathing space, but it's been down so long, it's hard to believe that anymore. Is there ever going to be a time when there are no upcoming patches or expansions? No. How will the XML, which has been prioritised below them consistently for 8 months, ever get worked on then?

I don't need to get a clue, GoA have been lieing to us and our only point of contact is Reqiuel, Requiel should not take what we say personally and forward it to GoA , and to be frank i don't give a **** if people like it or not, it's very childish saying , i'm not posting on this forum again. Give people what they want, and don't just walk away.

Requiel IS NOT GoA. He is being used a messenger. Ever head of the saying 'don't shoot the messenger?' Basically, Req. tries his best to provice us with information that is not part of his work circumlium. Some of us appreicate this and value every bit of information we get because we do not necessary have to have it. Some of us then flame him, bait him and make it hard for him. So why should Requiel do extra things when he does not get the full recognition for doing them?

If you have a problem with GoA, use right-now or customer support - do not take it out on a GM. Your only point of contact being Requiel is total bull****.

Listen i don't care either, all i was saying was that Takits input is valued by some users of the forum it wasn't a dig at anyone. Every body contributed to him leaving this board, cos everyones imput made others reply. SO don't turn it on one person as it's the majority of people who have posteds problem not Takits alone.
