Sounds very good :) I hope in the next expansion (not DR) they try to upgrade old hib and SI!

Well being less visible while still IS more logical, but would make things harder. Imho, they should really up the stealth attacks damage. For me, that's what being an assasin is all about. Sneak about, kill fast, get out. It's not like that now. I wouldn't care if I stayed alive a shorter time in melee combat if I knew that I could deal enough damage with my pa chain to seriously cripple (read kill, muahahaha) someone, and not have to get to rr5+ first.

yes this is kind of the problem - if they nerf stealth in response to the whines from others then they should at very least improve damage considerably. As it currently stands the whole description of for example the Nightshade has to be a bit of a joke. You have to have a very carefully arranged template to do any serious damage - I have only just got the weapons activated for my template (I am more casual than most), and still need Shades of Mist 3 of 3 to active the last artifact on my template.

Then its down to find the other items i need.

Imo rangers camo should work much better when they stand still. tbh it should have been a skill they only use when they stand still (but abit more effective in that case).

...then again, I also wanna see pbaoe/insta stun and kevlar on my ranger :)

true, but what will you do with rr8+ stealthers who PA scale capped resists for 950?

No seriously though, I think the fact assassins don't even need to PA to rip 400 - 600hps off your average character due to the str/const debuff being landable anytime is more than good enough. I think the real issue is that most assassins don't see this, because when it lands the opponents health bar is lower so even though the opponent is 400 - 600hps down, they still look like they're on 100% health. If Mythic are to up the damage for the from-stealth attacks they certainly need to lower the possible anytime damage that assassins can do also to balance things out.

Moral of the story? Always apply str/const debuff poison because even if you miss PA, you still land equivalent damage with the debuff at low RR.

Which is more or less what I meant. I'll take lowering anytime damage or lowering something else in exchange for having "uber" from-stealth attacks.

lol i wouldnt... and this will never happend anyways :)

If anything was to be changed it should the other way around... so Stealth starter attacks .. PA/BS's would do less and "normal" melee styles would do better dam.

And yea high rr slash infils can pa scale users for 900+ ... but that is with crit then. Just keep in mind that high rr infils have very high MoPain, so they crit very very often.

PA cap at RR12 with 50+22 CS .. + 10% melee dam and 10% style dam using malice axe.. gives a cap of 1057-1058 dam ... Ofc its basicly impossible to cap on such pa's .. need extreme str/dex for this,... or a extremely gimped target... or sitting one.
