When I ran in a regular group RPs were the main goal, and yet we would happily judge a situation and not add if the fight seemed fair, although there were few times that any fight really seemed fair.
When running in lesser groups it was usually a case of Kill on Sight, mainly down to the lesser ability and knowing any delay could cost us dear. In this situation I played to kill the enemy, and couldn't give 2 hoots about RPs.

people who think they have a monopoly on the enemy are playing the wrong game, we all, i'm assuming, voted for rvr clustering so enjoy what u have cause dem excalibur dudes wont b long telling u where to go....
there are currently only about 4-5 enemy guild groups running atm so if those who want to fight them without adds and hassle why dont they organise to meet them elsewhere on their IRC channels... but there-in lies the problem, if gg fought only gg well then ppl wouldnt get enough rps to satisfy themselves so they need to feed from the enemy zerg as well so we are back to who mezzed who first, or who saw who first etc etc
