Hacking - Why do people do it

i traded a Cata's CD key to a guy called Coven on Pryd/hib, and the trade was for an account with a lvl50 merc and a few other chars, and i was to pay £40 two weeks after.

he sold this account the day after i gave him the cd key on ebay.

this guy coven, was my guild leader, and i though that he was a good friend however now he's not my guild leader, and most of the member of his guild have left the guild due to the fact he HACKED my account, and stole all my items. and he said, prove it, so i will, below you will see the logs of all trades on the char's that the items have been stolen from, and also the names of all the char's i know that this guy plays. i belive that if these char's are in any of your guild kick them imo

I really feel sorry for what happened to you but imo this isnt proof

Yes you know that he stole your items but you can also have traded them yourself and that you cant proof I think.

Your best friend in game can become your worst enemy, be carefull what you do with your password imo

i never gave my password to any one.

how ever, i will NOT be getting my items back, but i have managed to transfer some cash from my other account to hib/pryd, and i am now back up and ruinning.

how ever i am needing ml's

and i need ml1 like tomorrow, so any one wanna help me out and do ml for meh
