At least i'll be sitting there with a smile on my face, knowing the pretty cloak u quickly bought before me won't protect u from Marvin the Martian and his anal probe... altho ur prolly used to a lot more there anyway

firstly - that was really hard to read. punctuation would help.

you say that you see the universe starting as the sperm and the egg meeting. right, well before the big bang there was obviously something to bang. also, the sperm and egg don't meed by coincidence - it is an intentional act. we don't know whether the big bang was a coincidence or the result of some intention (gravity pulling a "previous" universe into itself, causing the bang, and everything in it to occur?)
i like the way you think the universe will contract, cuz that is exactly what i think. but then i'm not a physicist and can't really make that prediction without being completely informed. and also, physicists could make as many predictions as they like but that might not happen. i think i agree with you but don't quite like your analogy. the universe expands after a big bang, then contracts, causing another big bang. the cycle is endless / perpetual. of course this might not be what is happening, and i could be completely clueless

satyn, what i think from your point (that the world has no end) is that you can take a finite point, travel around the world then be back to it. thats a 'start' and 'end'. in the universe though, where there appears to be no 'end', we might not be able to take a finite point and end up back at that point.
