Lev and Moley, please dont make this harder then it already is, if you have an issue with this please speak to your GM, last thing we want is a fight and/or arguments.
Please read the /as guidelines and the post about applications hopefully this will explain the situation.
Every guild in the alliance has the right to veto an application, this is to stop problems and in fighting within the alliance.
Alex, issues are talked about in the GM forums and then in /cg meetings, we can only act on info from the guilds that reply/attend.

They have been vetoed so we cant let them in, simple as that.

In the last GM meeting it was voted to remove Mirage (without letting us know at all) and without any clear image of the current situation of the guild.

Chosen has been in trouble since ND alliance broke loose and Chosen had no GM, so the few left member of Chosen joined to me in Mirage. Quickstar came back from long afk, also member from The Arrows Sting and Knights of Mayhem has joined Mirage so we're definetly not inactive.

Thus I'm just asking alliance leaders to restore our place in the NE. Confusing little happening this and easliy fixed.
I am a little bemused by a couple of things.

Firsty there appears to be blame pointed at NE GM's for not informing Mirage of the decision. I am not a GM and even I was aware of the posts asking guilds to confirm activity and intent to remain.

Given the number of posts you make Lenah I am disapointed you have indicated you were not aware. You are clearly a capable organisor (a number of raids recently), make a number of posts on this general forum so either you were ignoring the NE part of the forum (not good for a guild GM) or chose not to respond. In either case it is hard to point the finger at other alliance GM's for not giving you the chance to make your case.

I am also bemused by the activity and membership of your guild. You indicate that people have joined from several other guilds but DAOC stats show only 3 members. This has often been wrong and not updated but I did think the membership part was still working (bah now I'll have to go try to check).

As someone has vetoed I guess these are moot points but I am somewhat confused about your claims (this is easily done as continuous alcohol abuse threatens the 2 brain cells I have left :take:

{edit} just checked daoc stats is working fine for members - my guild had a new member join last night and he is showing ok - also checked duskwave and this also shows only 3 members and 8 toons in mirage. Neither shows your Knights or Mayhem or Chosen people as part of the guild. As you clearly indicate that they have already joined you may want to rightnow it as there is clearly a reporting problem.
Brain cells come and brain cells go but fat cells live forever !

alot of things to explain and think an open discussion needed about this.
I dont agree since I personally concider this to be alliance matters and not free for all matters. An open discussion within the alliance sounds fair, but not outside.

I just looked over the post pertaining to applying to join the alliance. It says it's down to GMs, with each having a veto right "if they have a good reason". No definition of "good reason" is given, so presumably that based on a consensus of the GMs.

So according to the rules, it's not really up for general discussion, within or outside the alliance - just between GMs. I don't see anything in the rules about GMs discussing (or not discussing) this with their respective guilds, so presumably if you want to know who vetoed Mirage, what their reason was, and who approved it as a "good reason", you can ask your GM.

And note, I'm not saying these are good or bad rules - it's just my understanding of them as they are currently posted.

I agree, but my point is if he really want to discuss this it should be kept within the alliance and not on a public forum.

And mine was that there aren't provisions in the rules at the moment for a discussion even within the alliance, only between GMs.

But if one is to be started, moving this to the Alliance Private Forum right now is probably the best way to go.
