I will try it. True, SWG with these changes are changing to more common type of MMORPG, but can that be really that bad? 
One thing worries me though - jedi will be now quite common proffession. Hard to tell if that's good or bad - I wanted to try Jedi without need to master 6 diferent proffessions over 6 months - but then everyone will be jedi. I think my char will stick with medic she is now

I wont bother with Jedi as I never did like being the same class as everyone else. It's actually quite ****e that it will get flooded with Sith Lords and Jedi knights

Hehe, Ankh, let me guess - your avat is Jim Carry as old seaman in that strange movie Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events?
About SWG and Jedi - i hope they will do it like you can be apprentice Jedi, but to be master or even Knight, you have to do quite a lot of hard or long quests. After all Jedi is about dedication, no?
This way it would balance population in long term.

I understand the game will go thru some major changes.
Will those be on new servers or how this gonna happen, hmm?

I'm playing SWG atm. I'm kinda looking forward to the changes, as SWG combat right now is a bit slow-paced and the PvP scene is not as vibrant as it should be.
Having said that, along with the improvements I am looking forward to, they are making some changes I hate. They are removing creature handling from the game and the Jedi thing seems like it's asking for 90% of people to play Jedis.
