Mythic got the rights! Could this be the next step for DAoC fans?:
I have to say, this is the first MMOG in a long while I've been quite excited about, of course, I doubt we'll see it for at least 3 more years.

RvR based, made by Mythic, who despite their problems, have developed DAoC which still has better RvR than any other game around atm. Given a fresh start and all Mythic have learnt I see a whole lot of potential here - things like the interrupt system are as they are because they're balanced around that, buffbots are just too hard to remove now without unbalancing - all these things could be eliminated with a fresh start. Not only that but the Warhammer world already has a MASSIVE amount of lore created for it already so you could be seeing storylines even richer than in WoW.“I have always been a big fan of Games Workshop and Warhammer and I am thrilled that we are now able to work on one of the world’s greatest and most enduring fantasy gaming brands,” said Mark Jacobs, CEO and President of Mythic Entertainment, Inc. “Our goal for this first of what we hope will be many Warhammer-based games is to create the single-greatest RvR-based MMORPGs in the industry.”
