I think they will make it, it's a very well known brand, I'd guess it's got the branding to attract even more players than WoW managed to. Couple that with the fact DAoC is an outright better MMOG than WoW imo and Mythic already have a lot of the difficult groundwork done. They'll be able to reuse so much from DAoC from sounds, to spell effects to various bits of source code - with all the lore and such already written it means Mythic can produce a brand new MMOG with a massive fan base much faster than any developer working from scratch ever could.Asysh wrote:or they bought the rights so nobody else can make a warhammer game.
They might think about doing it in a couple of years though, but I doubt they have any major intention of making one. (esp. after the flop of that warhammer rts)
