I used to have one of those but didn't like it, the silver paint wore away far too easy and mine didn't last long, perhaps I got unlucky, perhaps it was hardcore gaming sessions but I only got about a 10months to a year out of it :/
Everyone seems to rate those razor boomslangs or whatever they are but I'm content with my crappy cheap £5 basic MS optical

Used to have one of those long ago, never realy liked it. After that I been all about logitech, using a MX510 and a MX1000 atm, think I'm gonna have to stick the MX1000 in the drawer tho as its just too heavy and cause of problems with RIS it just sucks with a heavy mouse. But on the other hand it feels so nice in the hand

It's a great mouse for the price. Mine recently wore out after several years of constant use and I was peeved to find it had been discontinued as I wanted another. So I got a Razer Krait instead, which performs great but it cost twice the price.

The perfect mouse is a very subjective thing depending on if you control by resting your whole hand on the mouse (in which case you probably want a large bulky mouse) or if you control it with just your finger tips (in which case you want something smaller and lighter). I've never liked the Logitech mice as they're usually big and beefy and don't suit my finger control style. The Razer Krait is great for that, it's so small and light (almost like a notebook mouse). The good thing about the Intellimouse Explorer 3 was it was large enough for hand control but still light enough to be flicked about by those who prefer finger control.
