problem with catacombs

heyas, got a sligth problem, not really a major issue, but:
the player race models havent changed on my account at all andi have no idea why :/
now i thought it might be a problem with my DLed version from goa servers, so i deleted that and got the DLGamer one and installed it all etc
but still same thing, i get new mobs all the instances, got my vamp, but the models are still old and i want the new ones
so ye if anyone can give any hints as to why this is, thatd be gr8, im gonna rightnow it aswell, but im sure theyve got tons of emails about stuff, so betetr ask here aswell,

What graphics card do you have? Some cards don't support the new modells. (if you can't use ToA reflective water, you most likely can't use the models either).

ah kk, ye that might be it, just i get all the new mob models as far as i can see (the instances have the new ones) but ye maybe a new gfx card is in order, guess its a good thing ilike the old shar model or id be disappointed

Don't worry about it, there are many ugly skins, depends what race it is etc, I'm not particularly happy with how frostalf and kobold look in chain armor for example, I use use the catacombs client when exping my valkyrie in the new dungeon:-) Oh, I'm a sinner, gone back to mid for a bit. Elves rock though.

i think getting new models whether they are ugly or not was a major attraction for me to catacombs. just think - youve been staring at the arse of the same few characters without them ever changing for three or so years. time for an updat imho. :bunny:

My Race Models haven't updated either. and just like you said I could never see the TOA reflected water either. So you reckon my grafics card isn't up to par? hmmm this is definately not a good thing. *sigh*
I seem to be using the NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440/MX 440SE
tbh not really sure what that means or what have you. But if its not good enough I might have to upgrade...

maybe cata has a graphics option this time as well
