I'm buying a new computer this week probably (say goodbye to the lagapult!).

Anyone know any hardware I should avoid? I'm aware of two network cards that cause DAoC crashing, but I was wondering if anyone knows any other bits I should stay away from.

stay away from AMD winchester cores .if your looking at an AMD processor. it has lots of trouble running memory in dual channel - so if you want it to work just buy something other than a AMD venice or something.

Amd is cool, if you get the newest CPU's, have a new one myself and is np, the earlier ones wasent all to good though, but now I see no reason in not getting one.

oh no by all means get an AMD, they are better that Intel anyday tbh :)

was just saying be careful what mobo/processor combo you go for, probably best to look on AMD forums before choosing, there are some issues concerning certain processors and mobos
