I remember benchmarking a rig with 2x512 and 1x512 a number of years ago (3dmark 2001). Performance was actually better with the 512mb. I think I will go for like 4gig ram if thats poss these days 4x1024?? at least 2gig anyhow, monitor, drives etc i have already. I wud litteraly need case, mobo, cp, cooler, ram and gfx. Also im not really on a budget.
