hehe as for Dell you could be right... not bought as a consumer tbh.. and my account manager there is a real diamond! But yes their corporate service is great.

As for the warranty though they have to give 12 months minimum... unless I am mistaken as that is what is set down on their website.

Yeah it's 12 month minimum return warranty.

Okay ive more or less decided the laptop im getting - but on the specs it says Pentium M - is this the same as Centrino? would it make much difference? will it still have 2mb cache compared to p4's 1mb?

seems like an ok comp, if ur only out to look on movies, and for net surfing etc ;P

Actually read the first post now... and seems fine as long as you wont play any newer games on it ;D

A Pentium M is not a Centrino, Centrino is newer technology.
Looks a nice spec laptop though.
