I will warn you it doesn't follow the Animes 'twisted' episodes, its liner which means you could get spoilers, for instance episode 10 of the anime = chapter 2 of the manga and would have been quite a spoiler for anime only people.

I've been holding back on reading the novels/manga until the anime ends due to the distorted episode timeline of the anime. Speaking of which, it's finally correct! Ep12 is ep12!!! (and it now seems likely Adventures of Mikuru is ep11 since 12 is going to be the cultural festival which Haruhi was planning to show the movie at, and eps 5 6 and 11 are the only ones unaccounted for atm.. presumably 5 + 6 will be a two-parter finale). And yeah, from the preview for ep12 I'm really excited about it! Why?! LOLFANG-TAN MEIDO-MODE! (okay waitress not maid but still

).

Enough about the preview though, as I've totally forgotten to talk about ep10 or 11. Ep10 first.. Whoa, action and coolness and hawtness all wrapped up in one.. Ryoko vs Yuki battle was way cooler than many shounen action battles (makes me want to see KyoAni do such a series :s ) and adult Mikuru was win too! I hadn't noticed it before but the episodes that are chronologically after this one (but aired before it) Yuki hasn't had her glasses in them.. I shoulda noticed and went "wtf happened to her glasses?! oO" and then I could have gone "ah that's where they went!" after watching ep10... but I didn't so oh well ]whole body is shaking[/i]. And lol, Mikuru is useless at everything isn't she >< Why on earth she was selected to be a timetraveller is beyond me .. must be all Haruhi's powers at work I guess! And speaking of Haruhi.. she had so many brilliant expressions this episode

Her cocky look after kicking the computer club president.. brilliant. Her staring at Kyon to give him energy.. brilliant. Her megalomaniacal leading of her space ship forces (complete with hand gestures and posturing).. fantastic

And ofc she had the brilliant line "She's the SOS-dan's indispensable silent character" describing Yuki.. roflmao. Also she still treats everyone like objects (offering the comp club the prize of mikuru or yuki.. after they win saying she won't rent yuki out to them.. lol)

Oh and my remaining DVDs for Daphne in the Brilliant Blue arrived.. ridiculously over the top fanservicey costume designs aside, I quite enjoyed this series when it was originally airing, but Lunar dropped it when it got licensed (ep8 I think?) and nobody else picked it up so I had to wait til now to finish it. Very enjoyable series imo, Yuu and Gloria are such great funny characters which is probably why I really enjoyed it, though I did like Maia and Rena too. Shizuka was a bit of a non entity though after the first few eps imo.. Nothing too original or special about the series I guess but just enjoyable silly characters to watch, the 2nd dvd bonus episode where Gloria and Maia switch bodies was hilarious.
