Eep I've been rather busy with various things lately! Anyhows, ZnT is still going well in terms of cute girls although the main plot seems rather silly, "Ohnoes don't anger the water spirit" "blah blah stolen ring, oh you have runes on your hand? Okay, I the great water spirit will trust anything you say even though two random mages just beat you in front of my eyes and you obviously can't retrieve the ring from a truely powerful magician!" But hey, cute girls :D

And I like Louise's personality rather than appearance (purely on appearance I'd go for jessica I think). I always have a soft spot for Tsunderekkos :<

One Piece isn't airing til sept 10th, wtf?! :( and even when it's back, it's gonna be more of Robin's history before the cool cp9 vs strawhat battles get going :<

So, after months and months and years and years and yeah, ages... I've finally got round to watching the first episode of Full Moon wo Sagashite as I found it on youtube. I'd only heard good things about the series, which is shoujo-ish, and would surely be something I'd like so I shoulda gotten it long ago, but downloading a 52ep series is always daunting x<. Anyways, first episode was great, really really great! \o/ It's about Mitsuki, a 12 year old girl who loves to sing, but has cancer in her throat, and if she has an operation to cure it she may lose her voice, so she's against it. Then she meets 2 shinigami (rather cuter than those in bleach :p ) who accidentally reveal she's going to die in 1 year :( Which motivates her to persue her singing as far as she can, and the shinigami magically makes her 16 years old without a damaged throat to let her take part in an audition. So yeah, cute girls, romance, magical transformations, singing, love, tragedy to be(?), win! Linky first ep: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ye9Pr3-Sdig

Okay.. so I got bored waiting for 8GB of the anime to DL and got the full 7 volumes of the manga instead (about 280MB :p) first. Oh. My. God. It was so absolutely incredibly brilliant, one of the best manga I've ever read. Some parts of it were so terribly sad, especially in volumes 3 + 4, I musta spent a whole hour straight crying while reading through them. But well, I am a big girly x<

The group who translated it didn't do a very good job though imo, the quality of their english wasn't great and some bits were a bit confusing to read due to non intuitive translating. Even so, I loved it all and am buying the official release of it asap too (luckily enough the final volume is being released in october, so I won't have to wait long to get it all).

Can't wait to see the anime now too! Apparently it started when there was only 4 chapters of the manga out oO Wtf!? I mean, they were very nice chapters but still, starting a 52 ep series based on just that is a bit.. ~~~ Anyhows, as a result, I'm expecting the tv series to likely take a different path so I'm excited to see how it'll turn out!

Dunno if you know this or not, buy apparently they are releasing another shuffle episode...
Also due to be announced in the October, 2006 Japanese edition of Newtype Magazine: Director Naoto Hosoda is going back into the studio turn out "SHUFFLE! MEMORIES", a Director's Cut version of the 2005 24 episode WOWOW TV series Shuffle!. The new series will re-edit the original, combining entirely new material, an added new story and new OP's and ED's. Broadcast is expected to be carried out by Chiva Television and others this winter. The story will focus in on the 5 girls (Sia, Nerine, Kaede, Asa and Primula).

Yeah I had heard that already, thanks :)

Finished the Full Moon wo Sagashite anime now, it's much lighter and fluffier than the manga (more like what I had originally expected) and was pretty enjoyable all round. Ending was rather deus ex machina-heavy compared to the manga ending (which was a tiny bit too in one regard.. but after how sad the middle was I didn't care :p) but was still pretty enjoyable (plus they played the New Future song, which is my favourite from the series, so +10 points!).

Lol yeah, the first 2 volumes are pretty much Love Hina 2 with slightly changed char names :P Vols 4-6, with the uber Kyoto arc, are where it really finds its footing as a love hina/love comedy - shounen action hybrid, and where it really starts to shine imo. A lot of the characters are comparable to Love Hina ones.. Asuna is Naru v2.0 but with more kickass fighting powahs, Setsuna (introduced in vol4) is Motoko upgraded with added moe and even more kickass too, however I find the negima ones more likeable in general, and whilst there are heavy similarities in some personalities, they are still subtlely different too. So who're your favourite characters?! I really like (in no real order) Makie, Inchou (Ayaka), Setsuna, Eva-sama and Chisame (yeah she totally won me over with that costume in vol11). - though really, any time there's a story focusing on a girl I tend to like them a lot afterwards :p Damn that akamatsu and his mastery of moe ]

I've got up to volume 9, enjoying it dispite being interupted by phone calls asking me to log my wow character on :(
Eva is cool, i like her robot guardian too, both are pretty funky characters. Yotsuma-san is really nice too, even tho shes a minor character and only has 1 chapter so far.

I've downloaded Kanon #1 but not had an oppitunity to watch it yet, not sure what else to watch this season, Negima ofc and hoping for another comedy or 2.
One Piece is pretty good at the moment, the manga is starting a new arc soon.

Ah cool, you're onto the festival then, or very nearly (can't rem exactly where it starts.. I know it's not over by volume 16 though despite only being 3 days long haha! It's is full of lots of great action and moe!

Negima!? 1 is out now, I'll get it tomorrow though (sleep time x<), haven't watched Kanon either, been putting it off.. cos I just dunno what I'll do if I somehow don't like it! Too much hype! Bleh! :<

Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na - Crescent Love I watched ep1 of, it seems to be a nice romantic comedy (harem?) type of thing, even though the first few minutes may make you think it's something else..

hehe i've just finished #14 now. Its a bloody long festival! Something like 5 volumes so far :)
I'm a big Chisame fan too now, she had a few really funny moments, i love the way nagi is a fan of her website, she doesn't quite know what to say. I wonder who the next person to get a card is, my bets are on Chisame or Makie.

Oh i'll download episode 1 tonight!, i hear they are taking the story in a different direction in this new series, should be interesting.
