WoW freeshards? features?

Anyone guys tried a private WoW shard?
I’m interested to hear wether there are some cool available.
I’m not here after the free thing but about the feature originality.
Something like instances rescaled for smaller grps and such stuff – no clue if anybody managed to do that.
I know there are some daoc shards that have very cool features and im looking for something similar.
Please don’t use this thread to come back to that other one from of-topic; im not trying to fuel here the arguement again
Just really curious wether there is sth more interesting feature-wise that some freeshards offer for WoW.
From those I read about the major change was increased drop rate and xp rate, but not sure what would that mean drop-wise.
As said above I’m more curious about some alternate way of tackling the end game content aka instances.

they sometimes impliment UI that people download alot
