It would appear that those who ordered the pre-order pack from Play have been let down. I ordered back in January. I've been checking Play regularly and they said they'd email the pre-access code by today... but they haven't. Furthermore, there is now no mention of the pre-order Founders' bonus on Play's website. I am really annoyed about it and feel cheated, because I wanted to take up the Founder offer and buy a lifetime subscription.

I'm not a happy bunny!

I hope you get the pre-order code in time Gandi!

Many of the restrictions on the Founders thingy have been lifted, so you should be OK there if you pre-ordered.

I'm just wondering whether to cancel my order on Play and go and get the pre-order from Game or HMV.

Is that a good idea, or do you think I should sit tight?

The pre-order offer ends on 23rd April, so there's still time. But, it annoys me that Play changed the information and it looks like they are now only supplying the standard version, without the pre-order bonus.

I can only say I ordered my copy direct from Codemasters & I had the pre-release & founders codes in my inbox 20 seconds later.

Wether or not you should cancel & reorder elsewhere I can't say. Maybe give them until tomorrow IMO. Maybe they'll be sending out all the pre-release codes by email at midnight tonight or something.

Either way don't expect to get the actual game box until around the 24th, but to play in pre-order you only need the pre-release access code & the beta version of the game which is a free download. If you get a pre-order access code you should also get the founders code at the same time.

That costs £4.99 i/o the £1.99 which the pre-order pack costs in highstreet stores, but you get the £4.99 back as a rebate against any other product bought there... in my case the game itself.
