Not sure why this wasn't mentioned in the other reconnecting thread, but still...

To steal the words of p0x:

"Our objective is to get everyone onto the same server when WAR finally hits the streets. We'll be picking a "Core" server, which is basically identical to a normal DAOC server. If enough guilds are interested in an "Open RvR" server, which is identical to a WoW PVP server, we can pick one of both."

That site contains the list of the guilds currently participating in this. Only 5 weeks to go now, be nice if we got some more!

As you can see, the guilds here are intending to play on EU. Leave any US/EU discussion for some other thread please. We have all been playing beta and I guess have made up our own minds to some degree of a GoA run server, though the NDA is still in effect so you don't get any more info on that front yet!

For those without guilds, I guess you can just post here to say if you are wanting to participate. Will be nice to get a load of old faces together.

certainly with a bunch of old hibbies and friends intending to play it (same bunch as we did AoC, altho WAR always was and still is more of a target mmorpg for us), not as a guild tho, prolly we would opt to apply to some major force once the odds are known who and where etc..

Yeah, WAR has alliance options, though I've not tested them. Guilds reset too often in Beta for me to bother.

HI, I was in HDS on Prydwen.

I'd like to join whatever server ex hibbies join.

I'll be up for this also, Proberly as destruction, but it all depends atm.

I still have my 50 slot vent server which i pay for from my WoW days too.

Whichever guild i move to can share this

EU here - Destruction. Along with maybe 10 or so other nabs who tried wow and aoc.
