Orcs in wow aren't supposed to be stupid or anything like that, they are supposed to be pretty honorable, cunning and proud, definitely not stupid. Propably the most loved fiction character in wow is an orc.
And if you have seen a high warlord warrior orc and still think it's looking like a clown, well, can't say much other than i disagree

But nobody said that WoW have done a total copy of Warhammer...but they've copied loads but not every detail. Their brutal appearance fits better on a stupid voilent race.

i have no warhammer background so no clue who copied what from who
Most important i like the style of models so i will have no pb playing them (i hate gayish models)

warhammer has no peons though
imo warhammer should just introduce a peon type char just so there is something there

Warhammer has been around since the middle of the 80's...warcraft 1 was released 1994.
Edit: Warhammer don't need to copy anything from warcraft - they got shitloads of background information due to all the rpg/tabletop books they've released.
Edit: That includes tons of excellent art and shitloads of figures.
