Anyone who pre-orders gets into open beta (or is it just those who pre-ordered ages ago)?

Everyone who pre-orders gets into open beta and gets the head stert

if you pre-ordered collector edition before now you got into closed beta, but even some of the standard edition people got the CE codes from gamestop, possibly by mistake though i think

Was reading on the Mythic homepage

Anyone downloaded that file (and is fileplanet the only way)?

It is working for me, just very inconvenient.

If they are going to do a queue system, then that is what they should do.

You log on, and are assigned a time when you can start. You then just have to make sure your computer is switched on at that time.

In fact, I would allow people to pick when they want to download. For example, you might ask for 1mb/s between midnight and 8am, so you can download at night (or if you have some weird payment plan from your ISP). It would then book the following few nights. Ofc, you could leave your computer connected if you wanted, and download if people miss their slot.

Anyway, the impression fileplanet give is that the delay is just to 'encourage' people to switch over to the paid version.

Let's hold fire until the types are announced. I think PvP is going to be Camlann style so i'll be going Core Ruleset

There is a thread about having an unofficial EU server:
Well at least that should give a reasonable target.
