People have slated this one whilst the reviewers have said it was good. Normally when a reviewer (of a professional nature) says a film is good..its normally best to run far away or wait til it comes out on DvD. I wanted to watch this on the cinema but never did. Im regretting I didnt now.
It reads like the awful films like 'Spykids' but its actually very good. Alex plays the part of a moody teenager very well. Although the acting seems a bit OTT at times..it actually goes well with the film. After all. it IS a 14 yr old kid taking on adult villans

Hoodwinked
A take on the litle red riding hood story, this film asks why did the wolf dress in grandmas clothes? Why did Red decide to go visit her? What was the axe man doing bursting through the window? and why does granny not want Red to visit her?
As Detective Flipper says "when a tree falls in the forest there is 3 possible stories. The tree, yours and mine"
The cgi animation is very good. It doesnt attempt to be realistic which (unfortunatly) is where CGI often fails. Its an interesting take on an old well known story and some places will surprise you. I love it how they link all 4 stories together

All in all 8/10
Click
Seems straight to DvD film (i blinked when it was in cinema??) Adam sandler plays man who's boss keeps asking him to put his work first and his family last. Struggling at best he meet a wacky salesman (played by christopher walkin) who grants him an amazing gift. A universal remote.
Like Hoodwinked - parts are predictable, however it doesnt spoil the film.
Its similar to 'Bruce Almighty' however with the difference, bruce almighty left me with the feeling - it could have been so much better. Click, of cause it could have been improved but it was ok as it was

Christopher Walkin didnt seem comfortable in his role however which was sad as he is an ok actor
