I found this intressting - regarding future

I stumbled across a guy called Ray Kurzweil, aparently he's a big thinker and invents a great deal of "stuff". He has a theory about something called "The Singularity".

It's an event that according to him will take place within this century, as little as 20 years into the future. It will lead to super computers and AI and eternal life and whatnot.

I find it very intressting since I am a sci-fi freak and since I -want- to believe this sort of stuff I am somewhat biased, but I ordered the book now and will try to read it with a critical eye, as always.
