I'm doing some research into online friendships etc for my dissertation.
Basically, I want to know what you would call your 'online' friends (ie, online friends, game friends, etc) and your 'offline' friends (ie; rl friends etc)
if you've never even thought about it, well, now's your chance.

It depends what you mean by "what you would call", are we talking about where we draw the line between someone being a friend and simply knowing someone?

Also what about people like Heta who has no friends

its true, I have no friends

I know people online, I wouldn't say that they were my friends as such, like i wouldn't loan em money or anything

My Friends are left for the world of REAL LIFE.

In Green Peacekeepers i made few friends, since I could trust them if i needed to order something from UK shops (when they weren't delivering to my country) etc. So you can make in-game friends that will be RL too

I've friends online and off line . i don't make a distincition tbh.

I've meet a good few of my m8's who i speak to primarily online ... so no reall probs for me.

Heta you can be my friend if you want =) ...
