as bad as freddys house. Using that forum name as its well known for flames and such and one of the reasons why tenpit first created prydwen.net (another was to make all the guilds in Soul Pact alliance one forum i believe)

This has always been an open and honest forum. We have seen people come and go and for some I know this is not like the good old days.
However I do believe we remain better the FH.
We have numerous constructive and objective discussions on this forum, some of which get quite heated but in the main remain pertinent.
We do get flames, insults and bad language but in general the community picks up on this and the flame volumes are kept to a low number. Often we see apologies from the flamer.
We are never going to have a perfect forum, people object and get passionate and things get heated.
However I do think we remain better than FH where practically every post ends up with a mind numbing number of flames, insults or pointless comments.
Brain cells come and brain cells go but fat cells live forever !
Sometimes it's worse, some of our discussions occasionaly make a turn for the worst. This is mostly down to the difference in moderation between FH and pryd.net. Pry.net has less rules and is moderated less strictly than FH is, which is both the strength and weakness of this forum.
On the whole though, I'd say that in the end, it's way better off than FH. There seems to be a mutual respect between the members here, something lacking on the FH boards.
I'm not sure I'm really replying to the question, but for what its worth...
FH is bad, no question, so I don't look at the rvr section. To the limited extent that I've read it, Exc/pryd hib section isn't bad, and all the raid stuff is stickied at the start of the forum.
So if I want to avoid FH aggro but want raid information I can go to FH Exc/Pryd hib section and just look at raid stuff and ignore the rest. Before anyone jumps down my throat, I've only looked at this a bit, and so far it has worked for me. I'm sure there are raid threads with dodgy stuff if I read all the replies.
On Prydwen forum raid threads are in amongst the other stuff so its harder to ignore any arguments that are going on. There have been some rather aggro threads lately, and people have also posted unexpected stuff on innocuous threads. I've got some worrying health stuff just at the moment, so I just want to do a tortoise, retreat into my shell, ignore negative stuff, see how much I can still do, and try and have fun.
So my comment isn't really that its as bad or worse, its more how things are organised from the point of view of a would be tortoise.
By the way, I think its great that on Prydwen forum you try and keep dodgy stuff 18+ labelled so people don't accidentally open it in front of their boss or kids, or can avoid it if they just aren't interested. That is great, especially if its in its own section. People can post what they like then. My work has zero tolerance on inappropriate use of the internet because we have clients on site. People have been instantly sacked for looking at suggestive photos on site.
