Firstly, I would like to publicly apologise to Xest for referring to him as an imbecile.

Although Xest would never have been my personal choice for moderator based on his history of flaming on this forum (including its previous incarnation) his actions since becoming a moderator have, upon the whole, been fair and justified. He is mostly an intelligent and perceptive individual and should be commended for the good work he has done for this community.

Lair and Nana have always been superb moderators, and have managed a fair and impartial level of moderation throughout the history of this community, acting with discretion and understanding to maintain the friendly and open forum which we have all grown to love.

I would like to appeal to the community as a whole to give the new moderators every chance to show that they can live up to the impressive standards set by these individuals in the service of the forum members.

Thought from the title this would be some highly interlectual mathmatical debate on the difference of d² and Πr²
